Timewatchn (also called here TWN) guarantees that all Maurice Lacroix and Cyma brand watches to be free from manufacturing defects and offers this Limited Warranty for the period of six (6) months from the date of purchase.
TWN further guarantees that all Maurice Lacroix and Cyma NOS watches come from a reputable overseas supplier and are genuine articles made in Switzerland.
TWN makes no representation, warranty or guaranty, express or implied regarding the products except its standard form of limited warranty ("Limited Warranty"). TWN may, at its sole discretion, modify its Limited Warranty at any time and from time to time.
TWN , except as set forth in writing in this Limited Warranty, makes no performance representations, warranties, or guarantees, either express or implied, oral or written, with respect to the products, including without limitation any implied warranty (a) of merchantability, (b) of fitness for a particular purpose, or (c) arising from course of performance, course of dealing, or usage of trade.
TWN is not and cannot be responsible for any loss resulting from the failure of any product, and accordingly you bear this risk. In addition, TWN will not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or other damages, however caused, whether for breach of contract, negligence or otherwise, and whether or not it has been advised of the possiblity of such damages. This allocation of risk is reflected in the price of the product.
In the unlikely event of malfunction the watch has to returned to TWN at the purchases expense. Before any repairs can be considered the purchaser must first obtain Return Warranty Authorisation (RWA) number issued (by email) for the return of defective warranty goods.
Goods sent without obtaining prior RWA WILL NOT be accepted and will be returned to sender as received.
TWN , at its absolute discretion, may elect to either:
- repair the watch under warranty or
- refund the money in full (or pro-rata) or
- reject the claim
if it believes that the malfunction is due to neglect of the customer, mistreatment, incorrect or unathorised servicing by the customer and/or watch repair centre.
If the watch is accepted under the warranty claim and subsequently repaired the TWN will cover the costs of posting the goods back to the claimant.
If the warranty claim is rejected on whatever grounds or RWA not obtained prior to sending the goods to TWN the sender must pay for the return of the goods as advised by TWN.
The following are NOT subject to the above Limited Warranty:
- band replacements for cosmetic reasons or damage
- crystal replacement due to damage
- movement replacement due to neglect, mistreatment, unauthorized repair, incorrect or unathorised servicing by the customer and/or watch repair centre
- case replacement due to damage
- crown or stem replacement due to damage or neglect
- case back replacement due to damage or loss
- case, case back, bracelet, crown, clasp or buckle plating
- replacement of batteries for whatever reason

You will find that our warranty policy for vintage watches is very similar to other traders. That is because careful handling of vintage/antique timepieces can not be guaranteed once the goods leave our premises.
We make all endeavors to describe our items as accurate as we can. Photos shown are of the actual item/s which is/are sold on "AS IS" basis. Vintage watches might have minor scratches on casing, crystal, bezel or bracelet, etc., etc. unless otherwise stated.
All watches are monitored for at least 48 hours prior to shipping and guaranteed to be in good working condition at the time of shipping (unless specified otherwise) However, like with all vintage timepieces we can not guarentee accuracy other then the watch appears to be keeping good time upon visul inspection. This clause is unfortunately necessary because some people will buy a vintage mechanical timepiece and expect the same accuracy as a modern quartz watch.
Please email us regarding item/s on offer as the low prices we charge make it impossible to offer a warranty beyond our premises so we do not have refunds and all sales are final.

Refunds
In case a traceable post e.g. EMS, Courier Shipping, Registered Post with or without Extra Insurance is chosen and the item is lost or damaged during shipping we will only make a money refund after a claim for such refund has been positively processed and approved by the respective shipper.
By purchasing a product from TWN the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to the above conditions.
